Optical Gaging Products (OGP) will describe a range of sensor technologies that can be used for dimensional measurement of machined parts. Multisensor measuring machines use a combination of sensors, each with particular strengths, to measure various features or dimensions for verification to design drawings. This webinar will explain how optical (vision), touch probe, laser, and various micro-sensors can be used on a single measuring machine to derive extensive data about a part in a single setup. Depending on the machine configuration, dimensions from meters to less than a micron are easily measured. Fully three-dimensional measurement of critical part features and their relationships is easily automated for product development and production.
