In this webinar, Makino will demonstrate machining of transmission valve bodies with high performance PCD tooling. Aluminum with high silicon content is difficult to machine with carbide tooling. Using high performance tooling, Makino will demonstrate significantly improved face milling with reduced burring, superior spool bore accuracies, repeatability and surface finishes. In addition, improved cycle times and tool life are also achieved, lowering the cost per part.
